HRCS was established to provide expert business solutions to human resource problems and issues. David Swan who is founder and President of the Company has been doing just that for over 25 years. He is a highly skilled human resource management professional with experience providing business solutions to people and management issues within a variety of business and industry environments. HRCS provides expert advice, counsel and solutions in the areas of management recruiting and retention; employee and labor relations; benefit plan design and placement; compensation plan design; and management training in all facets of human resources, employee and labor relations. Clients have included organizations in manufacturing, distribution, financial services, construction, technology, retailing, telecommunications, healthcare, consulting engineering, and transportation.

Prior to forming HRCS, Dave has held the top human resource and labor relations position in several major national and international companies, both public and privately held. Most recently, he was Vice President of Human Resources for Leprino Foods Company, a $1.8 billion Colorado Corporation, with manufacturing, distribution and transportation facilities throughout the US and in Europe. Dave was employed previously with the Susquehanna Corporation, American Television and Communications Corporation, Stone & Webster Engineering & Management Consulting, and a division of Allied Stores. Throughout his corporate career, he effected positive change to increase sales, reduce costs, and improve the quality of the workforce through practical, innovative and sustainable business and human resource solutions.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts and has attended Boston College, Northeastern University, and the University of Minnesota, for post-graduate studies. He has also attended numerous professional programs through the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, Mountain States Employer's Council, Colorado Outward Bound, the Dale Carnegie Institute, the American Management Association and various other organizations. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP), the Colorado Human Resource Association and has contributed to many books and publications in the field of human resource management. He is also a licensed agent in Colorado for life and health insurance.
